New Wellspring

Wellspring is an invitation to investigate and understand the natural processes to restore the relationship with the environment. It simulates an ecosystem through soil, rocks and plants, able to recover its natural balance. Like raindrops falling on the inside of a cave, purified and enriched by the water lifecycle.

In 2012 he began a fruitful collaboration with the ceramist Marc Vidal, an exceptional potter, who from that moment would produce the pieces for the Martín Azúa / Numbered publishers. Initially they developed utility pieces among which feature a series of decanters that use plants and stones to purify the water and small chimneys conceived as a fire vases. Later they developed a series of vases incorporating different natural elements: stones, branches, leaves…
