I want to be a chinese vase
In the exhibition will be shown different pieces that could be classified as vases without strictly complying with their definition. Imperfect vases that need other objects to fulfill their role.
“If you tell someone that looks like a flowerpot this is not exactly a compliment. A vase can decorate and make us happy, but it seems that this is not enough. The exhibition is a claim of the vase as an essential object, a piece that represents like no other the usefulness of the simple beauty. “
Designed by Martín Azúa and produced in collaboration with the ceramist Marc Vidal.
Exhibition: “I want to be a chinese vase” Casa Camper, Barcelona 2016.
