Objetar Exhibition

Curated and designed the exhibition “Objetar” during The Year of Design, Barcelona 2003. The exhibition featured the work of young designers involved in the production of their own designs. It was a premonitory exhibition of the boom in self-production in later years. Without the mediation of the industry, designers felt free to propose critical objects that in many cases resorted to irony and humor. The exhibition was visited by more than 65,000 people. The exhibition was set up on a shoestring budget with signage cones and circular boards. The catalogue, published by Actar, was a book-object that became a picture frame.
