Biocolonizable Textures

The first version of this idea was developed in a workshop given by Martín Azúa in The École de Beaux-Arts in Saint Étienne 1998. Architectural surfaces for floors and facades which are capable of harbouring plant life such as mould, moss, grass etc. Buildings constructed with these materials would change colour and form contrasting with their artificial surroundings. This project appears in the Mater catalogue.
