“Manantial” is a compilation of work designed by Martin Azúa and produced in collaboration with the ceramist Marc Vidal, made in recent years and some pieces specially designed for this exhibition in H2O.

18th of November Martín Azua was awarded with the National Award for Achievement in the 1st Awards of the Interiors magazine. The award was delivered by Juli Capella and Soledad Lorenzo in a fantastic party in the House of Alhajas in Madrid.

19/05/2014 – Ceramic Futures
Martín Azúa participates as a mentor in the Ceramic Futures workshop.
Cersaie, the leading international exhibition of ceramic tiles and bathroom furnishings, values young talent as the next generation of leading thinkers and innovators. With this in mind, Cersaie together with Stefano Mirti has developed Ceramic Futures to challenge 4 groups of young design students to work together during May and June 2014.
The project seeks to explore and challenge the versatility of ceramic both as a creative and functional medium – a material that is universal and unique, sustainable and enduring, while also being one of the oldest.
The participating schools are Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (EnsAD), ELISAVA and Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi).
